Toyohari© Acupuncture Training

  •  Develops Maximum Qi Sensitivity

  •  Uses Non-Insertive Needling

  •  Uses Subtle Pulse and Abdominal Diagnosis

Developed within the tradition of Meridian Therapy by blind acupuncturists in Japan, this system:

  •  Excels in the development of qi sensitivity required for accurate point-location, abdominal diagnosis and subtle non-insertive needling techniques

  •  Emphasizes mastery of Five-Phase pulse analysis used prior to the root treatment for diagnosis, and during the process of root treatment for immediate 'feedback' to assess the effectiveness of the needling techniques

  •  Includes many supportive techniques utilizing extra vessels, moxibustion, Chinese Clock theory, Japanese micro-bloodletting, and unique neck/abdominal needling ('Naso' and 'Muno')

This is an eighteen day program spread out over six to eight months and is being offered to licensed acupuncturists and third year acupuncture students. The Toyohari© program emphasizes 'hands-on' practice. Graduates will be eligible to participate in ongoing monthly training meetings, and workshops in Japan, Europe, Australia and the U.S.

The Toyohari© Association uses innovative methods for re-evaluating and improving their qi-regulating needling techniques. Senior Toyohari© practitioners attend periodic research meetings to test refinements that maximize treatment effectiveness. All Toyohari© members meet regularly to evaluate and improve their own technical abilities using unique feedback methods.

An excellent reference for Toyohari training is the book Meridian Therapy by Fukushima Kodo, available from Redwing Books: http://www.redwingbooks.com/products/books/MerTheJapHar.cfm .
